Rupesh Shrestha
Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Designer, Agricultural Tech Enthusiast
Rupesh is a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for product development and design. He is equally comfortable working at a desk, in a manufacturing environment, or conducting research. With keen observation and visualization skills, Rupesh is also an accomplished sketch artist. As a certified SolidWorks Expert and SolidWorks Champion from Nepal, he is a highly respected member of the engineering community. In addition to his professional pursuits, Rupesh is dedicated to giving back to his community through his involvement with the Aspire Leadership Program and the organization Action Nepal, where he actively leads various livelihood projects as a Board of Director. His ultimate goal is to revolutionize the field of engineering and agriculture through innovation and technology, with a focus on improving food security in Nepal. Currently, Rupesh is a US Embassy Youth Council member for the 2023 cohort and he is involved in the Civic Engagement Project on business law, digital finance literacy, and entrepreneurship for the women involved in small and cottage industries in Kanchanpur. In his free time, Rupesh enjoys traveling, singing, sketching, arts, teaching, mentoring, and public speaking.
